Birth Doula Support

As a brith doula, I am a trained and certified professional. My role as a doula is to support you physically, emotionally, and spiritually while providing evidence based research and education. Ultimately, my goal is to provide you all of the support you need, while maintaining a calming, grounding presence so that your birth can unfold at it’s highest potential. I support both medicated and non-medicated births, including C-sections. I am available to support you in whichever environment you choose to labor in; home, hospital and birthing centers. Birth is not a medical event, it is a beautiful spiritual event, and you are your own best advocate!   • Complimentary initial meeting to see if we are a good fit
  • A welcome kit with handmade non-toxic belly butter lotion and essential oil room spray
  • 24/7 call/text support throughout your pregnancy
  • 24/7 on-call from the 37th week of your pregnancy until you give your birth
  • 1 to 2 prenatal visits before labor to go over your birth plan, stages of labor information
    and education, comfort techniques, logistics, nutrition during pregnancy, newborn interventions and more.
  • Comfort techniques we will go over include hands on massage techniques, pressure points, hip squeezes, position changes, use of rebozo, birth ball, essential oils, hydrotherapy (use of water), meditation and breathing techniques
  • Optional herbal remedies, tinctures, and support via herbal medicine
  • Support throughout your entire labor and birth, and staying at least one-hour after baby is born to support bonding and breastfeeding
  • Referrals given for specific concerns and needs (lactation consultant, etc.)
  • *Back up doula support in case of emergency where I am unable to attend
